Quarantine messed up your social skills. Social media had already diminished them. Most of communication is nonverbal. Practice (safely) talking to people you encounter in your neighborhood. The internet is not a suitable tool to socialize, but it has handy protocols to contact people from a distance to set up meetings, keep in touch, and occasionally connect with friends of friends.
